Frequently asked questions

The short answers.

Can I use ChatGPT on a file covered by professional secrecy?

Not in clear text. The French Bar's guide (CNB, April 2026) recommends systematically pseudonymizing or anonymizing data before any use of a generative AI, and the French accountants' Order says the same. A copy pseudonymized on your computer no longer contains the identities; the mapping table stays with you.

Does the AI still understand the file once names are replaced?

Yes: the same person keeps the same label in every document ([PERSONNE_1], [ORGANISATION_2]…), and you can rename a label, for example [CLIENT] or [TARGET]. The reasoning stays intact; only the names have changed.

How do I get the real names back in the answer?

Paste or import the AI's answer into AnonymFiles: the labels become the real names again, on your computer, as text, Word or PDF.
